Vitis-import
Founded to import and distribute certified French grapevines across Canada, Vitis-import now supports Canadian vineyards by offering the sale of French grapevines, GPS-guided planting of grapevines, stakes and posts, as well as the distribution of vineyard and winemaking equipment.
In partnership with SLPA (Société Landaise de Profilage d’Acier), they developed the INT3NSE™ trellising system, designed to protect vines in extreme climates (two-section end posts, two-section intermediate posts, hoops, and end hoops) to enable full mechanization. The company also manufactures machines for rolling and unrolling geotextile fabrics.
Guillaume Merle
A winemaker’s son for several generations, an expert in viticulture and oenology, he has been sharing his expertise in Quebec for over 15 years as a cellar master, vineyard manager, and consultant. His family and professional connections in Europe, combined with his hands-on experience, have allowed him over the years to develop the services that Vitis-import offers today.
